After weeks of waiting and wondering, we purchased plane tickets tonight for our return trip to the US early next year. Amazingly, the price even went down a whole $40 per ticket in the time that we waited! (Usually don’t see that happen.)

Long story short… we’ll be on the west coast on February 3, 2009. After that, everything is yet uncertain. God help us.

Ever get so attached to something that you feel you couldn’t function properly without it?

For me, it’s my cordless optical mouse. I love it. I pretty much can’t edit video without it, because I’ve gotten so used to the side scroll feature! When I don’t have it hooked up, it really feels like I have a handicap. Not that the other mouse I have is a bad one (certainly nothing like the uni-button apple mice), but without that side scroll ability, it just doesn’t compare.
