I can see the sea today!

I have to enjoy the view while I still can.. I’ve already started moving things to my new house, and hope to be living there by early next week.

Edit: The ants got my Cheezits. Now they are no more…only food for the trash can.

Camino de Santiago: the Way of St. James

Jamie and I will be going on a trip to Northern Spain for 9 days - leaving this Friday on the 11 pm bus!

We will be traveling with a Campus Crusade group from Malaga and joining up with the many others on pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago, in Santiago de Compostela.

What we have to look forward to (or not?) on this trip:

- Walking on foot for 195 km. in 9 days
- Camping in tents with new Spanish friends
- Cold showers
- Trying out the local food and drink from the region of Galicia
- Viewing beautiful scenery and taking lots of photos!
- Getting an officially stamped “passport,” proving that we’ve completed the journey
- Traveling on overnight busses to and from the northern coast of Spain and southern coast of Spain

We’ve been having some bad networking days at MMC.

First, the server started having issues, then the ADSL router (the piece that makes it so we can have internet at all) decided to die suddenly, and we are now left without a working server computer and without internet to set up said computer.

Jamie has been working tirelessly for a few days now, trying to resolve at least some of the problems, but at the moment we can only wait for the Telefonica tech to come out and replace our router.. thereby fixing the internet signal and partially returning MMC to working order.

Please pray that we would be able to plan for and find a new server solution soon, and that all of the data we have would be recovered before the current hard drives give out completely.
